Miss Anthropy

A dark and fragile songstress from Bristol UK, Miss Anthropy creates intimately deep and emotionally delicate music. Her songs marry acoustic delivery with atmospheric electronica to create sweeping soundscapes. Referencing everything from Portishead, Ani Di Franco, PJ Harvey, to Regina Spector and Martina Topley Bird.

MA sings, plays guitar & keyboard, utilises a drum machine, loop pedal, FX pedals and other quirky devices that all enhance her incredibly delicate song writing. She is accompanied live by two other instrumentalist's.

Her brand new debut album New Leaves was released 24.10.11 through Inner City Grit Records and was entirely self-produced. Miss Anthropy has been touring through Europe this autumn to coincide and promote it.

2 different physical versions of the album are available. One is a highly limited edition fabric pack, each pack has been hand-made and hand-drawn by Miss Anthropy herself and features a 6 page lyric booklet. The other is a standard edition plastic sleeve with a printed version of the fabric-pack artwork. The album is also available on digital release from http://innercitygritrecords.ithinkmusic.com
